Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Tippa you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Tippa is

Tippa is a social app where users create prediction markets and place friendly stakes among themselves. Tippa is not a gambling platform. No real money is processed, held, or paid out by us. Any settlement between users is informal and entirely between those users.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under your local law to use Tippa.

4. Your account

• Provide accurate information when you sign up.
• Keep your password confidential — you are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person. Do not impersonate others.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Tippa for unlawful gambling or any activity that violates local law.
• Post markets, options or content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that targets minors.
• Upload malware, scrape the service, or attempt to bypass access controls.
• Collect personal data of other users or spam them with friend requests.

6. User content

You retain ownership of content you upload (markets, options, bets, avatar). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host and display that content as required to operate the service. You are responsible for the legality of what you post.

7. Bets and settlement

Stakes recorded in Tippa are informal commitments between users. Tippa does not enforce, collect or guarantee settlement. We are not a party to any wager between users and are not responsible for any dispute that arises from one.

8. Moderation

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice when necessary to protect other users or the service.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or that remain inactive for more than 24 months.

10. Disclaimer & liability

Tippa is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from bets placed between users.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of this Tippa instance is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after the update means you accept the new Terms.
